Overview of Session 1 Results
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to release the highly anticipated results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1. Over 12 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam held in late January. The scorecard will contain crucial details including your Subject-wise NTA Scores,Aggregate Percentile, and All India Rank (AIR).
Note: While the NTA Score (Percentile) is released now, the final All India Rank is usually consolidated after the Session 2 exams in April.

How to Download Your Scorecard?
Follow these simple steps to access your result from the official NTA website:
- Visit the official portal: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the flashing link "JEE(Main) 2026 : Session-1 Score Card".
- You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Enter the Security Pin (CAPTCHA) exactly as shown.
- Click 'Submit' to view your dashboard. Your scorecard PDF will open.
- Important: Download and print at least 2 copies for future counselling (JoSAA/CSAB).
Expected Cutoff 2026 (Qualifying for JEE Advanced)
The "Cutoff" refers to the minimum percentile required to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. It is NOT the admission cutoff for NITs. Based on the increased competition in 2026, here are the expected trends:

Tie-Breaking Rules 2026
What happens if two students get the exact same NTA score? The NTA has a strict tie-breaking policy for 2026. The ranking order is decided by:
- Priority 1: Higher NTA Score in Mathematics.
- Priority 2: Higher NTA Score in Physics.
- Priority 3: Higher NTA Score in Chemistry.
- Priority 4: Candidate with a lesser ratio of negative answers (higher accuracy).
- Priority 5: Candidate older in age (used rarely).
Seat Reservation Criteria
Admissions to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs follow the Central Government reservation policy:
